Introducing 'the Junctions' between Chakras

Chakra Course - Intro

Chakras are thought of as 'energetic centres' of our bodies. On this intro workshop I offer a real-world explanation of the phenomenon (how I have grown to understand them through my 35 years of practice). And I guide you through something to gain direct somatic awareness of one of the physiological structures that acts as a 'junction' between two of them.

The Heart Chakra and its supporting structures

Anahata

These classes are mostly practical, so on this one I take you through practices to activate the physical structures that create support for the heart chakra breathing space. And we end with a quiet experiencing of what it feels like to centre ourselves there.

The Throat Chakra and its structures

Vishuddi

The Throat Chakra functions best when the junction above it (where the skull meets the first vertebra) is free/balanced, and the junction below is grounded (the thoracic inlet and top few vertebra of the thoracic spine). We explore developing each condition to be able to experience 'centering in the throat Chakra' (which is actually the experience of true listening)

Discovering the Heart Chakra in uprightness

Anahata part2

This workshop brings together the retention breath practices of the Pranayama Course together with the understanding of the supportive structures of the Heart, to create the possibility of released centering into the Heart Space in uprightness. (Essential for true meditation)
